Forward Gabriel Fontaine extended his goal/point streak to six games Friday night with two goals and an assist in Rouyn-Noranda's 5-4 win over Sherbrooke in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League.

The 2016 sixth round pick has three multi-goal games during the streak and has nine goals in the six games, as well as three assists for 12 points total. He has 18 goals and 19 assists for 37 points in 37 games. He's two goals shy of his career-best in goals, which he set a season ago.

Out in the Western Hockey League, right winger Ty Ronning had a pair of goals to help lead Vancouver to a 5-4 win over Kelowna. The 2016 seventh round pick has four multi-point performances in his last eight games, and 17 points in his last 14 games. Ronning has 19 goals and 21 assists for 40 points in 43 games this season for the Giants.

Defenseman Sergey Zborovskiy had an assist in Regina's 8-5 loss to Medicine Hat. He has six goals and 28 assists for 34 points through 33 games with the Pats this year.

Cristoval Nieves had two goals while Steven Fogarty had one of his own in Hartford's 7-4 loss to Toronto Friday night. Adam Tambellini and Mat Bodie each had assists as well.

Nieves has five goals and 10 assists for 15 points in 35 games this year, his first in pro hockey.
