Prospect Update: Fontaine 2 Goals, Gettinger 2 Points

Plus Jensen, Graves and Shesterkin In Action

Center Gabriel Fontaine scored a pair of goals in Rouyn-Noranda's 6-3 win over Sherbrooke in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League on Friday night. The 2016 sixth round pick has a three-game goal/point streak during which he's netted five goals and two assists for seven points. Fontaine has 14 goals and 18 assists for 32 points in 34 games this season for the Huskies.

Forward Tim Gettinger scored a goal and added an assist in Sault Ste. Marie's 6-2 loss to Mississauga in the Ontario Hockey League. The two-point effort extended Gettinger's goal/point streak to four games, with the 2016 fifth round pick posting five goals and five assists during the streak. He has 21 goals and 16 assists for 37 points in 39 games this year with the Greyhounds.

Forward Ty Ronning scored Vancouver's only goal in a 4-1 loss to Moose Jaw in the Western Hockey League. He has 13 points - including seven goals - in his last 13 games. The 2016 seventh round pick has 17 goals and 19 assists for 36 points in 40 games this season for the Giants.

Nicklas Jensen scored his 17th goal of the season in Hartford's 2-1 overtime win over St. John's in the American Hockey League. Ryan Graves picked up an assist on Jensen's goal while Magnus Hellberg made 29 saves for his 10th win of the season.

Jensen leads the Wolf Pack with 17 goals and 27 points in 32 games, while Graves leads the team in assists with 15 on the season.

Finally, goaltender Igor Shesterkin made 24 saves in a 9-1 SKA win over Metallurg. Shesterkin is 3-0-1 in his last four games and has lost only one game in regulation since Nov. 17. He's 25-3-5 with a .941 SV% and a 1.55 GAA with eight shutouts.
