Espoo 2 vs. HIFK (Hirschovits) 3
HIFK got back to its winning ways with a 3-2 victory over Espoo on Thursday. HIFK had lost two in a row coming into the game, but has now won seven of its last nine contests. Kim Hirschovits did not register a point in the game. He has seven goals and 13 assists for 20 points in 49 games this season.

Ilves 2 vs. JYP (Immonen) 6
Jarkko Immonen was held scoreless for just the second time in his last six outings last night as his JYP mates beat Ilves, 6-2. Immonen, who was held scoreless in the contest, leads the team in scoring with 18 goals and 28 assists for 46 points in 50 games.

TPS (Korpikoski) 4 vs. Lukko 7
TPS has now dropped three of their four, and Lauri Korpikoski was held scoreless in last night's 7-4 loss to Lukko. Korpikoski has skated in 38 games with TPS and has collected four assists.

Frolunda (Lundqvist) 3 vs. HV 71 1
For the second straight and only the sixth time all season, Henrik Lundqvist did not man the goal for Frolunda, but his absence did not stall the Indians momentum. Frolunda bested HV 71 3-1 and has now lost just one game in their 18 games (15-1-2). Lundqvist currently ranks among the Swedish Elite league goaltending leaders in several categories, including saves ( 1094, third), save percentage (.938, first), wins (32, first), goal against average (1.72, first), shutouts (6, first) and minutes played (2518:09, second).
