Norfolk 2, Hartford 0
Following a 4-0 road win in Springfield on Saturday, the Hartford Wolf Pack returned to the friendly confines of the Civic Center riding a modest three-game winning streak only to find little left in their offensive gas tank. The Pack were blanked by the Admirals, 2-0, on Sunday in front of 5,958. The game was scoreless after two but a pair of third period goals, including an empty-netter with 50 seconds remaining lifted Norfolk to victory. Jason LaBarbera turned aside 27 of 28 shots for the Pack in the loss. The Pack sit in second place in the Atlantic Division and the Eastern Conference with a 35-17-1-2 record.

Gwinnett 2, Charlotte 1
The Charlotte Checkers closed their recent 10-game stretch with a 2-1 loss to Gwinnett on Sunday. The Checkers posted a 6-3-1 mark in those 10 games, which fell over a grueling 13-day stretch. Charlotte is now 31-19-3 overall on the season.

Owen Sound 3, Ottawa (Petruzalek) 4
Ottawa rookie forward Jakub Petruzalek played a key role in the 67's victory on Sunday, netting the game-winning goal at 7:20 of the third period in a 4-3 finish with Owen Sound. For Petruzalek, the goal was his 20th of the season. He leads all Ottawa players with 55 points (20 goals, 35 assists) in 49 games this season.

London 1, Guelph (Callahan) 2
Guelph captain Ryan Callahan collected an assist and the Storm pulled out a close 2-1 victory over the visiting London Knights in OHL action on Sunday. Callahan leads Guelph with 26 goals and 47 points in 49 games this season. His 21 assists are tied for second on the club and his 84 penalty minutes ranks fifth on the squad.

Kootenay (Dawes) 2, Medicine Hat (Psurny) 0
In WHL action on Sunday, Nigel Dawes scored his league-leading 12th game-winner of the season as the visiting Kootenay Ice blanked Roman Psurny and the Medicine Hat Tigers 2-0. The win improves the Ice to 40-13-6-2 and keeps them comfortably in first in the B.C. Division and first overall.
