Emerging from the Pack

Alexandar Georgiev stopped 80 of 84 shots in two games this weekend, going 1-0-1 with a 1.98 GAA and a .952 SV%. Georgiev made a season-high 43 saves and earned a win as Hartford defeated Bridgeport, 2-1, on Nov. 11 at Bridgeport.

Daniel Catenacci registered a goal in both of Hartford's games during the week, and he recorded the game-winning goal on Nov. 11 at Bridgeport. Catenacci has tallied a point in five of the last seven games, recording six points (two goals, four assists) over the span.

Vinni Lettieri recorded a goal on Nov. 12 vs. Laval. Lettieri has tallied a goal/point in three of the last five games and in four of the last seven contests. In addition, he has registered a point in seven of his last 11 games, tallying eight points (six goals, two assists) over the span. He leads the Wolf Pack in goals (six), power play goals (four), and shots on goal (39), and ranks fifth on the team in points (eight) in 2017-18.

John Gilmour notched an assist in both of Hartford's games during the week (two assists), and he recorded seven shots on goal in the two contests. Gilmour has also registered an assist/point in three of his last four games (three assists), and he is tied for first among Wolf Pack defensemen in points this season (five; one goal, four assists).

Ryan Sproul tallied an assist, recorded five shots on goal, and posted a plus-one rating on Nov. 12 vs. Laval. Sproul, who was acquired by the Rangers from Detroit on Oct. 21, has notched four assists and has recorded 25 shots on goal in eight games with the Wolf Pack this season, and he has registered eight points (one goal, seven assists) in 13 AHL games in 2017-18.

Adam Chapie was reassigned to the Wolf Pack from the Greenville Swamp Rabbits on Nov. 10. Chapie tallied 17 points (eight goals, nine assists) in 11 ECHL games with Greenville this season at the time of his reassignment, and recorded at least one point in 10 of the 11 contests. In his final game with Greenville before being reassigned to Hartford, Chapie registered the game-winning goal in overtime to help Greenville rally from a 3-0 deficit and defeat Orlando, 4-3, on Nov. 9. He made his season debut with the Wolf Pack on Nov. 11 at Bridgeport.

Quick Hits

Morgan Barron tallied an assist/point in each of the two games he played with Cornell during the week (two assists). Each of Barron's assists was a primary assist, and he recorded an assist on the game-winning goal with 1:02 remaining in regulation on Nov. 11 against Harvard. The Rangers' sixth round pick (174th overall) in the 2017 NHL Entry Draft extended his point streak to six games, and he has registered a point in each of his first six career collegiate games (two goals, four assists). He is tied for second on Cornell in assists (four), ranks third in points (six), is tied for third in plus/minus rating (plus-three), and is tied for fourth in goals (two) this season.

Brandon Halverson made 43 saves and earned a win on Nov. 7 at Orlando. The Rangers' second round pick (59th overall) in the 2014 NHL Entry Draft has made at least 30 saves in six of his seven ECHL appearances with Greenville this season.

Sergey Zborovskiy registered a goal/point in each of Greenville's two games during the week (two goals, one assist) and posted a plus-two rating over the two contests. The Rangers' third round pick (79th overall) in the 2015 NHL Entry Draft has tallied nine points (four goals, five assists) in 11 games with the Swamp Rabbits thus far this season, and he leads team defensemen in assists and points in 2017-18.
