Emerging from the Pack

Cole Schneider recorded three points (one goal, two assists), including the game-winning goal with 1:43 remaining in regulation, and posted a plus-three rating on Oct. 28 at Lehigh Valley. Schneider has tallied a point in seven of 10 games with the Wolf Pack this season. He leads the Wolf Pack in points (nine), ranks second in goals (four), and is tied for second in assists (five) and plus/minus rating (plus-three) in 2017-18.

Adam Tambellini registered his fifth goal of the season on Oct. 28 at Lehigh Valley. The Rangers' third round pick (65th overall) in the 2013 NHL Entry Draft has recorded a point in six of 10 games thus far this season (five goals, one assist), including a goal in five of 10 contests. Tambellini leads Hartford in goals and shots on goal (29), and ranks fifth on the team in points (six) thus far in 2017-18.

Vinni Lettieri recorded a goal and posted a plus-three rating on Oct. 28 at Lehigh Valley. Lettieri, who was signed by the Rangers as an undrafted free agent on Mar. 27, 2017, has registered a point in four of his last six games, tallying five points (three goals, two assists) over the span. He has recorded 27 shots on goal in nine games with Hartford this season, and he ranks second on the Wolf Pack in shots on goal in 2017-18. In addition, Lettieri is tied for second on the team in plus/minus rating (plus-three) and is tied for third in goals (three) this season.

Alexei Bereglazov tallied two points (one goal, one assist), including his first career AHL goal, notched an assist on the game-winning goal, and posted a plus-three rating on Oct. 28 at Lehigh Valley. Bereglazov, who signed with the Rangers as an undrafted free agent on Apr. 21, 2017, leads Wolf Pack defensemen in plus/minus rating (plus-two) and is tied for first among Hartford defensemen in points (four; one goal, three assists) thus far this season.

Neal Pionk tallied an assist in both of Hartford's first two games during the week, extending his assist/point streak to three games (three assists). Pionk, who was signed by the Rangers as an undrafted free agent on May 1, 2017, leads Hartford defensemen in assists (four) and is tied for first among team defensemen in points (four) this season.

Ryan Graves tallied a goal and posted a plus-one rating on Oct. 29 at Hershey. The Rangers' fourth round pick (110th overall) in the 2013 NHL Entry Draft has registered four points (one goal, three assists) in 10 games this season, and he is tied for first among Wolf Pack defensemen in points thus far in 2017-18.

Daniel Catenacci recorded three assists/points in three games during the week, including two assists on Oct. 29 at Hershey. Catenacci has registered four assists in seven games with Hartford thus far this season.

Alexandar Georgiev made 27 saves to earn his first career AHL win on Oct. 28 at Lehigh Valley.

Steven Fogarty registered his first two goals/points of the 2017-18 season and posted a plus-two rating on Oct. 29 at Hershey.

Ryan Sproul made his debut with the Wolf Pack on Oct. 27 vs. Bridgeport. Sproul, who was acquired by the Rangers from Detroit on Oct. 21, registered 11 shots on goal in three games with Hartford during the week.

Andersson

Lias Andersson, C, Frolunda Indians (SHL) - Andersson tallied an assist/point in two of Frolunda's three games during the week. The Rangers' first round pick (seventh overall) in the 2017 NHL Entry Draft has recorded four points (two goals, two assists) in 10 SHL games with Frolunda thus far this season, and he has registered all four points over his last six contests. Among players younger than 20 years old who are playing in the SHL this season, Andersson (who turned 19 years old on Oct. 13), is tied for fifth in goals and is tied for sixth in points in 2017-18.

Morgan Barron, C, Cornell University (NCAA) - Barron tallied a point in each of his first two career collegiate games. The Rangers' sixth round pick (174th overall) in the 2017 NHL Entry Draft registered his first career collegiate goal/point and recorded four shots on goal while making his collegiate debut on Oct. 27 against Alabama-Huntsville. Barron also notched an assist on the game-winning goal and posted a plus-one rating in his second career collegiate game on Oct. 28 against Alabama-Huntsville.

Adam Chapie, RW, Greenville Swamp Rabbits (ECHL) - Chapie tallied three points (two goals, one assist) in three games during the week, and he registered the game-winning goal on Oct. 24 at Adirondack. He has registered nine points (four goals, five assists) in six games with Greenville this season, and he leads the Swamp Rabbits in goals and points in 2017-18.

Tim Gettinger, LW, Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds (OHL) - Gettinger registered a goal in both of Sault Ste. Marie's games during the week (two goals over the span). The Rangers' fifth round pick (141st overall) in the 2016 NHL Entry Draft extended his goal/point streak to three games (three goals, two assists, plus-four rating over the span), and he has tallied seven points (four goals, three assists) over the last six games. Gettinger has recorded 17 points (eight goals, nine assists) in 15 games with Sault Ste. Marie thus far in 2017-18. Gettinger is tied for fifth in the OHL in shots on goal this season (62). He leads Sault Ste. Marie in shots on goal, ranks second in goals (eight), is tied for second in power play goals (three), ranks third in points (17), and ranks fourth in assists (nine) this season.

Brandon Halverson, G, Greenville Swamp Rabbits (ECHL) - Halverson made 36 saves and earned his first win of the season on Oct. 24 at Adirondack. The Rangers' second round pick (59th overall) in the 2014 NHL Entry Draft has made at least 36 saves in all four appearances he has made with Greenville this season.

Dawson Leedahl, LW, Greenville Swamp Rabbits (ECHL) - Leedahl registered an assist/point in all three games he played during the week, recording five points (two goals, three assists). He tallied three points (two goals, one assist), including his first career ECHL/professional goal, and posted a plus-two rating on Oct. 24 at Adirondack. Leedahl has notched an assist/point in each of the last four games (two goals, four assists), and he has tallied an assist/point in five of six games thus far this season (two goals, five assists).

Tarmo Reunanen, D, TPS (Liiga) - Reunanen skated with TPS' junior team during the past week, and he registered two points (one goal, one assist) on Oct. 28 against Pelicans. The Rangers' fourth round pick (98th overall) in the 2016 NHL Entry Draft also tallied four points (one goal, three assists) in his first game with TPS' junior team this season on Oct. 21 against Jokerit. The 19-year-old has tallied six points (two goals, four assists) and has posted a plus-five rating in three games with TPS' junior team in 2017-18. In addition, Reunanen was named to Finland's roster for the U20 Four Nations Tournament, which will take place during the second week of November and feature prospects from Finland, Sweden, Russia, and the Czech Republic.

Ty Ronning, RW, Vancouver Giants (WHL) - Ronning registered three points (two goals, one assist) in three games during the week, and he tallied a goal in two of the three contests. He recorded a goal and led all skaters with 10 shots on goal on Oct. 28 at Victoria, and he notched two points (one goal, one assist) on Oct. 29 at Victoria. The Rangers' seventh round pick (201st overall) in the 2016 NHL Entry Draft has registered 19 points (12 goals, seven assists) in 15 games with Vancouver in 2017-18, and he has recorded at least seven shots on goal in six of the 15 contests. Ronning leads the Giants in goals (12), points (19), plus/minus rating (plus-eight), shots on goal (84), and game-winning goals (two) thus far this season. Ronning ranks second in the WHL in shots on goal and is tied for fifth in the league in goals in 2017-18.

Igor Shesterkin, G, SKA St. Petersburg (KHL) - Shesterkin stopped 29 of 31 shots he faced and earned a win in his only appearance of the week on Oct. 23 against CSKA. He has posted a 17-0-1 record, along with a 1.41 GAA, a .947 SV%, and 4 SO in 18 appearances this season. Shesterkin has allowed one goal or fewer in 11 of his 18 appearances in 2017-18. The Rangers' fourth round pick (118th overall) in the 2014 NHL Entry Draft has registered a 48-4-2 record, along with a 1.57 GAA, a .940 SV%, and 12 SO in 57 appearances since the start of last season. Shesterkin leads the KHL in SV% (.947), is tied for the league lead in wins (17), ranks second in the KHL in GAA (1.41), and is tied for second in the league in shutouts (four) thus far in 2017-18.

Sergey Zborovskiy, D, Greenville Swamp Rabbits (ECHL) - Zborovskiy registered two points (one goal, one assist) in three games during the week. The Rangers' third round pick (79th overall) in the 2015 NHL Entry Draft has tallied four points (two goals, two assists) in six games with Greenville thus far this season, and he leads team defensemen in goals and points in 2017-18.
