AMERICAN HOCKEY LEAGUE
Hartford 6, Hershey 1
Following Friday's 5-1 loss in Philadelphia, the Wolf Pack travelled west in the Keystone State to Hershey on Saturday and came away with a 6-1 victory. Six different players scored for the Pack and Jason LaBarbera turned aside 29 of 30 shots in the win. Hartford continues its seven-game road swing on Sunday in Bridgeport.

Columbia, Charlotte (PPD)
The Charlotte Checkers announced Saturday that its game against the Columbia Inferno has been postponed due to inclement waether in the Southeast.

WESTERN HOCKEY LEAGUE
Kootenay 3, Medicine Hat 1
Nigel Dawes collected a pair of power play assists and was named the first star of the game on Saturday as Kootenay won its 11th straight game, icing Roman Psurny and the Medicine Hat Tigers, 3-1. The win improves Kootenay to 33-13-4-0 on the season, good for second place in the WHL's B.C. division. Dawes leads his squad with 26 goals and 42 points in 41 games.

Al Montoya and the Michigan Wolverines rebounded from Friday's 4-1 loss to Darin Olver and the Northern Michigan Wildcats with a 3-1 victory on Saturday. Montoya improved to 19-6-1 on the season.
