Individual tickets for the Rangers 2001-02 National Hockey League season will go on sale Wednesday, September 12, starting at 9:00 AM, at the Madison Square Garden box office. Fans may purchase a maximum of eight tickets per game to any of the Rangers regular season home contests. Tickets will be available in the $40 and $25 price ranges. As part of the first Rangers Training Camp ever to be held at Madison Square Garden, members of the team will be on hand at the Madison Square Garden box office beginning at 9:00 AM on September 12 to meet and greet Rangers fans. Players will be assisting in ticket sales and serving coffee and donuts to celebrate the on-sale date of individual game tickets prior to hitting the ice for the first day of Training Camp.
In addition, all fans are invited to enter the Arena to watch the club's Training Camp on-ice workouts. Practices on Wednesday, September 12 and Thursday, September 13, scheduled for 9:00-10:30 AM and 11:30-1:00 PM, are free and open to the public. On Friday, September 14, the Rangers will host a Blue-White scrimmage featuring the top 40 players in camp. Game time is scheduled for 6:00 PM and admission is also free to the public.
The Madison Square Garden box office will be open for extended business hours during Training Camp, from 9:00 AM through 6:00 PM from Wednesday, September 12 through Friday, September 14. Regular box office hours of 12:00 noon through 6:00 PM will resume on Saturday, September 15.
