Throughout the 2010-11 season, the New York Rangers and the Garden of Dreams Foundation hosted guests of their partner charities for Dream Suite Nights at select games for unforgettable evenings of Rangers hockey.
Children and their families were able to watch warm-ups from ice level, receive insight into the game from MSG network personalities, and watch the Rangers take on their opponents from a catered suite with Rangers alumni.

In addition to meeting Rangers alumni and broadcasters, all of the children and families invited to MSG this season had the thrill of being welcomed on GardenVision during the game –- an experience that they will never forget.
On October 27, as part of Hockey Fights Cancer Awareness Night, the Rangers and Garden of Dreams hosted 16 children and families from the Ronald McDonald House of New York. The children enjoyed pre-game warm-ups, a catered suite, and got to meet former Rangers Rod Gilbert and Pete Stemkowski who each visited the group during the course of the night, taking pictures, signing autographs and distributing special gift bags.
On November 22, as part of Garden of Dreams Night, groups from Harlem Dowling and Life Center enjoyed VIP treatment at the Rangers game. Gilles Villemure and Rod Gilbert visited the children throughout the night, signing autographs and distributing gift bags.
On December 16, children from Life Center came to see the Rangers play at MSG. After watching warm-ups rinkside and meeting the MSG announcers, the children enjoyed the game in their suite with visits from Glenn Anderson and Brian Mullen who signed autographs throughout the evening.
On January 25, the Rangers hosted a group from SCO Family of Services to attend the game. They were joined by Rangers alumni Dan Blackburn and Gilles Villemure who distributed gift bags and enjoyed the game from the catered suite.
On February 13, the Rangers hosted children and their families from NYU Medical Center and the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Hudson Valley to attend the game against the Penguins. Along with participating in an on-ice check presentation, the children were able to meet Gilles Villemure during an intermission and MSG announcers prior to the start of the game.
On March 22, children from the Maria Fareri Children’s Hospital were able to enjoy watching the Rangers take on the Minnesota Wild from a catered suite with Stephane Matteau and Dan Blackburn.
On the final Dream Suite Night of the season on April 7, children and families from NYPD Widows and Children’s Fund enjoyed the Rangers game with visits from Rangers alumni Glenn Anderson and Gilles Villemure. All were able to enjoy pre-game warm-ups and received gift bags from Garden of Dreams and the Rangers.
In all, the Rangers and Garden of Dreams were honored to have the privilege of hosting these evenings for our partner charities and look forward to hosting many more Dream Nights during the 2011-2012 season.
