Rangers prospect Chris Doyle, a 2008 NHL Entry Draft pick, continued his QMJHL preseason scoring streak on Friday night despite his Prince Edward Island team's 5-2 loss to visiting Moncton.
The 19-year-old Doyle set up the game's first goal, a power-play tally by Samson Mahbod at 5:28 of the opening period. His primary assist on the play gave him eight points in four preseason games and extended his points streak to four. He is coming off an injury-plagued season as he competes in his final year of major-junior hockey with the Rockets.
