Rangers Daily Prospect Update -- Sept. 2

David Kveton, a 2006 Rangers draft pick playing for Trinec of the Czech Extraliga, completed his preseason with the game-winning goal in Wednesday's 5-2 win over visiting Skalica, a Slovak opponent.


Kveton scored at 13:25 of the second period to give Trinec a commanding 3-1 lead at the time. He completed the preseason with three goals and five points in nine games. Kveton will represent his country in the upcoming Czech Hockey Games international tournament before Trinec's regular-season begins on Sept. 9. Trinec finished its preseason with an impressive 6-2-1 record.
