The Hartford Wolf Pack, the Rangers' American Hockey League affiliate, fell to the Norfolk Admirals 3-1 in Norfolk on Friday night. Ryan Callahan, the Rangers' fourth-round draft pick in 2004, scored the Pack's lone goal - his first as a professional. Lee Falardeau and Daniel Girardi picked up the assists. The goal, scored with only 1:06 remaining in the game, cut Norfolk's lead to 2-1, but the Admirals put the game away with an empty-net tally with five seconds to go. Stephen Valiquette made 24 saves in the Hartford net. The Wolf Pack are now 1-5-0 on the season. For more information, visit the Wolf Pack's official site.

In addition, 18 Rangers prospects competed in regular-season games in the QMJHL, OHL, WHL, NCAA and Europe on Friday. Here is a summary of their performances:

Dupont, the game's No. 1 star, scored the first two Hitmen goals, extending his points streak to nine games. His first goal, which stood up as the game-winner, came only 20 seconds into the game. He later scored at 14:56 of the first and finished the game with a plus-2 rating. Dupont is scheduled to join Team WHL for the ADT Canada Russia Challenge from Nov. 29-30.

Olver Darin Olver

Olver's Scoring to Date: 7 games, 1 goal, 3 assists, 6 PIM
Oct. 27: Northern Michigan 2, Ohio State 0 (at Northern Michigan)

Olver, the Wildcats' senior assistant captain was the game's No. 3 star after scoring his first goal of the season on his only shot of the game to give Northern Michigan a 2-0 lead. The Wildcats are now 4-2-1 on the season.

Flatt tallied his first goal of the season - and only the second of his major junior career -- to give the Attack a 3-2 lead with 2:02 left in the first period. He also led Owen Sound with a plus-2 rating.

Hillier scored the game's first goal at 8:49 of the opening period and finished the game with a plus-1 rating.

Roche assisted on the Terriers' lone goal, scored by Brian Strait on a power play with 5:42 remaining in the game. BU came up short in its bid for the tying goal after having trailed 2-0 early in the third period.

Russell was not in the lineup as the Ice lost a 2-0 second-period lead and were beaten by Red Deer at home. Russell is out with a broken finger, suffered during Kootenay's Oct. 20 game at Swift Current and is expected to miss one month. It was the first game he has missed due to the injury.
