The Hartford Wolf Pack, the Rangers' American Hockey League affiliate, fell to the Norfolk Admirals 4-3 in overtime at home on Saturday night, as Norfolk's Brandon Bochenski scored the game-winner at 1:14 of OT. Rangers prospect Dwight Helminen opened the scoring for the Pack on a power play at 3:43 of the first period, with Bryce Lampman and Daniel Girardi picking up assists. Hartford then stretched its lead to 2-0 on Lauri Korpikoski's third goal of the season at 11:23 of the first. Jakub Petruzalek, recently recalled from Charlotte, and Marvin Degon assisted on the Korpikoski goal. Norfolk scored the next three goals to take the lead early in the third period, but Ryan Callahan, the game's No. 2 star, managed to tie the game at the 1:57 mark. The goal, assisted by Korpikoski and Helminen, was Callahan's sixth in five games. The shots were even at 30-30, and Stephen Valiquette made 26 saves for Hartford, which is now 2-7-1 on the season. It was another big night for Pyatt, who had three points and was named the game's No. 2 star. He scored his 16th goal of the season just eight seconds into the second period, tying the game at 2-2. He then added an assist on the game-winner, scored by Patrick Asselin at 7:25 of the second to give the Spirit a 4-2 lead. He closed out his big night with the lone assist on Jan Mursak's goal at 17:52 of the third. Pyatt was one of four Saginaw players who were plus-3 for the game and is now just one goal shy of the OHL lead.

Sanguinetti, the Rangers' No. 1 draft pick in 2006, scored his 10th goal of the season on a power play at 7:19 of the third period, cutting Kitchener's lead at the time to 4-3. Just over four minutes later, he assisted on the tying goal by Bobby Ryan, also scored on a power play. Kitchener ended up winning the game 5-4 on Scott Timmins' goal with 6:39 remaining in the game. With the two points, Sanguinetti improved his scoring average to a point-per-game.

Dupont scored his 12th goal of the season at 3:11 of the third period, pulling the Hitmen into a 2-2 that forced overtime. Dupont, who did not participate in the shootout, also took a minor penalty in the third period and finished the game with a plus-1 rating.

Reese scored his first goal of the season on a power play at 7:29 of the second period, cutting St. Lawrence's lead to 2-1. He was also called for a third-period holding penalty and tied for the team lead with six shots on goal.

Olver had the primary assist on the game's first goal, scored by Rob Lehtinen with only three seconds remaining in the first period. He was also called for minor penalties in the first and second periods and finished the game with a team-leading plus-2 rating as the Wildcats upset No. 4 Miami on the road.

Beller had the primary assist on Matt Nelson's even-strength goal at 12:40 of the second period. The goal cut Cornell's lead at the time to 4-2. It was the first career collegiate assist for Beller and Yale's first loss of the season.

Ryan had the second assist on the game's first goal, scored by Maine's Keenan Hopson at 1:36 of the first period. Maine, the nation's top-ranked team, remains unbeaten at 7-0-1.
