The Hartford Wolf Pack, the Rangers' American Hockey League affiliate, defeated the Providence Bruins 3-2 on Friday night in Providence behind two goals from Jarkko Immonen and an outstanding performance in goal by Stephen Valiquette. Immonen, the game's No. 1 star, got the Pack on the board first with his third goal of the season, scored on a power play at 7:57 of the opening period. Greg Moore assisted on the goal. Providence came back to tie the game just over nine minutes later, but red-hot Ryan Callahan made it 2-1 off assists from Bryce Lampman and Nigel Dawes at 8:41 of the second period. The goal was the 13th of the season for Callahan, who already has two hat tricks this month. The Bruins' Kris Versteeg then scored his second goal of the game to tie it at 2-2 with 4:35 remaining in the middle period. Immonen picked up the game-winner for Hartford on a power play at 1:13 of the third period, with Dawes and Lampman getting their second assists of the game. Stephen Valiquette was outstanding in goal for Hartford, stopping 33 shots to earn No. 3 star honors. Hartford is now 6-11-1 on the season. Visit Charlotte's official web site
The Charlotte Checkers, the Rangers' East Coast Hockey League affiliate, fell to the Florida Everblades 7-1 at home on Friday night. Bruce Graham, Zdenek Bahensky and goaltender Chris Holt were the only Rangers prospects who participated in the game. Holt made 31 saves in defeat for the Charlotte. The Checkers are now 9-6-0 and tied for fourth place in the American Conference's South Division. For more information, visit the Checkers' official site.

Hunter had another multi-point game as the Cougars coasted to a shutout win at home. He picked up the second assist on Jesse Dudas' power play goal with six seconds left in the opening period, which gave the Cougars a 3-0 lead at the time. He later had the primary assist on Dana Tyrell's power play goal at 3:09 of the second period. He also took a minor penalty in the second period and finished the game with a plus-1 rating.

Pyatt's Scoring to Date: 26 games, 20 goals, 18 assists, 14 PIM
Nov. 24: Saginaw 4, London 3 (SO) (at London)

Pyatt, the fifth Saginaw shooter in the shootout, won the game with the lone shootout goal. He also had the primary assist on Patrick Asselin's goal at 11:47 of the first period, giving Saginaw a 3-2 lead at the time, and took a minor penalty in the second period. He finished the game with a plus-1 rating.

Sanguinetti scored his 14th goal of the season on a power play at 10:15 of the first period, giving Owen Sound a 3-1 lead at the time.

Staal, the Sudbury captain, picked up the primary assist on Matt Dias' power-play goal at 14:17 of the first period. That gave Sudbury a 3-0 lead at the time, but Ottawa came back to tie it up and win it in an overtime shootout. Staal finished the game with a plus-1 rating.

Zeliska had the second assist on Mike Gauthier's goal at 16:07 of the second period, tying the game at 1-1. He finished the game with a plus-1 rating.
