Rangers Daily Prospect Update: March 6, 2007

The Charlotte Checkers, the Rangers' East Coast Hockey League affiliate, defeated the Augusta Lynx 2-0 at home on Monday night. Rangers prospect Chris Holt was outstanding in net, notching the shutout with 27 saves. The shutout was Holt's first of the season, coming in his 39th game. Dupont did not score any points and took one minor penalty of the Hitmen's victory. Calgary got the game-winner on a power play with 38 seconds left in the third period.
