March 21: Yaroslavl 4, Omsk 3 (at Omsk) (Series tied 1-1)

Anisimov scored Yaroslavl's second goal of the game at 0:58 of the opening period as Yaroslavl blitzed its way to an early 2-0 lead and eventually knotted the Superleague quarterfinal series at 1-1 heading back home for Game 3 on Friday.

March 21: Moncton 6, Halifax 4 (at Moncton) (Moncton leads series 1-0)

Hillier had the primary assist on the Mooseheads' first playoff goal, scored by Bryce Swan at 6:42 of the opening period to pull Halifax into a 1-1 tie. He also took minor penalties in the second and third periods
