The Hartford Wolf Pack, the Rangers' American Hockey League affiliate, fell to the Lowell Devils 2-0 on Sunday afternoon at Lowell, Mass. Hartford goaltender Chris Holt, making his first start for the Pack since being recalled from Charlotte of the ECHL last week, made 23 saves in what was a 1-0 game until the Devils sealed the victory with an empty-net goal. Holt was named the game's No. 3 star for his efforts. Lowell netminder Jordan Parise was the No. 1 star, thwarting the Wolf Pack with 36 saves. Hartford is now 39-25-3 on the season and has gone a remarkable 34-14-2 over the past 50 games to take sole possession of second place in the Eastern Conference's Atlantic Division, only four points behind division-leading Manchester. Graham

Visit Charlotte's official web site
The Charlotte Checkers, the Rangers' East Coast Hockey League affiliate, fell to the Columbia Inferno 3-2 on the road on Sunday afternoon. Rangers prospect Bruce Graham had the second assist on Nathan Gillies' goal at 19:02 of the second period, putting the Checkers up 2-1 at the time. Columbia came back with two third period goals, including the game-winner with 2:59 remaining. The Checkers and Inferno each had 29 shots on goal. Charlotte is now 34-24-3 and tied for fifth place in the American Conference's South Division. For more information, visit the Checkers' official site.

Pyatt broke Saginaw's franchise record with his 43rd goal of the season on a power play at 13:38 of the second period. That goal stood up as the game-winner.

ZaborskyTomas Zaborsky
Position: Left Wing
Team: Saginaw Spirit

Zaborsky's Scoring to Date: 59 games, 19 goals, 24 assists, 18 PIM
March 18: Saginaw 7, Windsor 3 (at Saginaw)

Zaborsky scored Saginaw's third goal of the game with only two seconds left in the opening period, giving the Spirit a 3-1 lead. He finished the game with a plus-1 rating.

Hillier's Scoring to Date: 70 games, 32 goals, 27 assists, 79 PIM
March 18: Cape Breton 5, Halifax 1 (at Cape Breton)

Hillier scored Halifax's lone goal at 15:54 of the third period, cutting the lead to 4-1. He also finished the game with a plus-1 rating. Hillier ended the regular season with 32 goals, ranking second on the Mooseheads behind Bryce Swan. He also tied for second on the team with a career-high 59 points.
