Rangers Daily Prospect Update -- July 28

by Staff Writer / New York Rangers
Rangers draft picks Zdenek Bahensky and Roman Psurny became the first members of the organization to perform in the 2009-10 season on Tuesday, as both participated in Czech preseason games. Bahensky, a 2004 draftee, scored the eventual game-winner in Mlada Boleslav's 5-1 rout of Benatky. Psurny, another 2004 pick, had a tremendous afternoon in scoring a hat trick to help Usti nad Labem of the first division tie Czech Extraliga team Kladno on the road. Psurny scored unassisted goals to tie the game at 5-5 and 6-6.
