The Hartford Wolf Pack, the Rangers' American Hockey League affiliate, defeated the Springfield Falcons 2-1 on Friday night in Springfield, Mass., for their 13th win in 17 games. Both goals came from rookies. After giving up the first goal just six minutes into the opening period, the Pack came back to tie it on Brandon Dubinsky's 11th goal of the season at 14:01 of the first. Ryan Callahan and Bryce Lampman assisted on the goal. Dane Byers, the game's No. 3 star, then delivered the eventual game-winner when he gave Hartford a 2-1 lead off assists from defenseman Ivan Baranka and No. 1 star Dubinsky at 6:02 of the second period.
