Three Rangers prospects competed in regular-season games in the QMJHL and WHL on Tuesday. Here is a summary of their performances:


Kveton David Kveton
Position: Right Wing
Team: Gatineau
League: QMJHL
Kveton's Scoring to Date: 17 games, 3 goals, 19 assists, 15 PIM
Feb. 13: Gatineau 6, Baie-Comeau 2 (at Rouyn-Noranda)

Kveton had the primary assist on Martin Frechette's power-play goal at 6:36 of the second period, giving Gatineau a 4-1 lead.

SauerMichael Sauer
Position: Defense
Team: Medicine Hat Tigers
League: WHL
Sauer's Scoring to Date: 55 games, 5 goals, 13 assists, 60 PIM
Feb. 13: Medicine Hat 5, Prince Albert 2 (at Medicine Hat)

Sauer did not score any points and took one minor penalty in the third period of his team's win at home.

ZeliskaLukas Zeliska
Position: Center
Team: Prince Albert Raiders
League: WHL
Zeliska's Scoring to Date: 47 games, 3 goals, 23 assists, 60 PIM
Feb. 13: Medicine Hat 5, Prince Albert 2 (at Medicine Hat)

Zeliska did not score any points and took minor penalties in the first and third periods of the Raiders' loss at Medicine Hat.

FurrerPhilippe Furrer
Position: Defense
Team: SC Bern
League: Swiss Nationalliga A
Furrer's Scoring to Date: 16 games, 3 goals, 2 assists, 41 PIM
Feb. 13: Bern 3, Lugano 0 (at Lugano)

Furrer, recovering from wrist surgery performed on Dec. 29, was not in the lineup. He is expected to return to the team in late February.
