The Hartford Wolf Pack, the Rangers' American Hockey League affiliate, shut out the Worcester Sharks 2-0 on Tuesday night in Worcester, Mass, to return to the .500 mark on the season. Goaltender Al Montoya was the game's No. 2 star, making 20 saves for his third career AHL shutout. Twenty-year-old rookie Brandon Dubinsky, the No. 1 star, had a hand in both goals, scoring the eventual game-winner for the Pack just 3:14 into the game. The winning goal, Dubinsky's seventh of the season, was assisted by Brad Isbister and Marvin Degon. The Pack made it 2-0 with what proved to be an insurance goal by Dane Byers on a power play at 10:56 of the second period. Byers' goal was set up by Dubinsky and Greg Moore. Hartford is now 14-14-2 on the season and within three points of fourth place in the AHL Eastern Conference's Atlantic Division. For more information, visit the Wolf Pack's official site.
