Rangers prospect Roman Psurny
had a big night on Tuesday in Prague, but it wasn't enough to get his Usti nad Labem team into the Tipsport Cup semifinals. Usti nad Labem fell to local Sparta 5-4 after falling behind 4-0, and Psurny was a big part of the comeback that nearly won the game. He assisted on Jan Kloz's goal at 11:31 of the second period, cutting the lead to 4-1 and then scored with four minutes left in regulation, pulling Usti nad Labem to within a goal at 4-3. Psurny's team tied the game at 17:17 of the third, only to lose on a goal by Sparta's Michal Bros with 22 seconds remaining in the game. With its victory, Sparta advanced to next week's Tipsport Cup championship game.
