The New York Rangers, as part of their NYR SKATE program, a division of the Madison Square Garden Cheering for Children Foundation, and the United States Marine Corps, continued their annual support of the Toys For Tots program during the holiday season.

Over three events this winter, members of the Rangers helped collect more than 5,600 toys for New York-area children.

On Thursday, December 9, Adam Graves, Brian Leetch, Darren Langdon, Todd Harvey and Kirk McLean appeared at Cronies Restaurant (1695 Second Avenue / 88th Street, NY) and helped collect over 2,500 toys.

Leetch, Mike Richter, Petr Nedved, Stephane Quintal, John MacLean, Jan Hlavac and Mike Knuble appeared at the ESPN Sports Zone (42nd Street / Broadway, NY) on Tuesday, December 14, helping to collect over 1,100 toys.

On Thursday, December 16, Graves, Kevin Stevens, Kim Johnsson and Jason Doig helped collect over 2,000 toys at Antonio's Restaurant (105 Mamaroneck Avenue, White Plains, NY) in the last of three holiday toy drives.

In exchange for every unwrapped toy, all fans received one autographed item from the participating players. The donated toys were distributed by the United States Marine Corps.
