33 Active Players Remain on New York Roster

New York Rangers President, General Manager and Head Coach Glen Sather announced today that the club has reassigned several players to the Hartford Wolf Pack of the American Hockey League (AHL). The Rangers now have 33 players remaining in training camp, including three goaltenders, 12 defensemen and 18 forwards. Goaltender Dan Blackburn remains inactive due to a left shoulder injury, while right wing Pavel Bure also remains sidelined due to a knee injury. New York begins the exhibition schedule Friday, September 19 when they travel to Dallas to face the Stars.

Greg de Vries, John Jakopin, Darius Kasparaitis, Bryce Lampman, Brian Leetch, Vladimir Malakhov, Boris Mironov, Lawrence Nycholat, Tom Poti, Dale Purinton, Fedor Tjutin, Craig Weller.
