Rangers Assign Four to Hartford (AHL)

New York Rangers President, General Manager and Head Coach Glen Sather announced today that forwards Paul Healey and Garth Murray (right) and defensemen Lawrence Nycholat and Jamie Pushor were assigned to the Hartford Wolf Pack of the American Hockey League (AHL).

Hartford prepares for a pair of home games at the Civic Center this weekend as they host Philadelphia on Friday (7:05 PM ET) and San Antonio on Saturday (7:05 PM ET), while the National Hockey League prepares for All-Star weekend in St. Paul, Minnesota.

Healey has appeared in three matches with New York, while Murray has skated in four games with the Blueshirts this season, collecting two penalty minutes. Nycholat has appeared in four contests, collecting two penalty minutes and Pushor has skated in seven games since being acquired from the Columbus Blue Jackets on January 23.

The Rangers return to action on Wednesday, February 11 when they visit the New Jersey Devils (7:30 PM ET).


WOLF PACK SEND FOUR TO CHARLOTTE
Hartford Wolf Pack General Manager Jim Schoenfeld announced today that defenseman Jeff State and wingers Lucas Lawson, Brandon Cullen and Ryan Cuthbert have been reassigned from the Wolf Pack to Charlotte of the East Coast Hockey League (ECHL).

State had appeared in 10 games with the Wolf Pack, registering 28 penalty minutes and a +1 rating. Lawson, a left wing, has dressed for 19 contests, collecting one goal and two assists for three points, along with 21 penalty minutes. Cullen has seen action in five Wolf Pack games at right wing, with no points or penalties and Cuthbert, also a right winger, appeared in two games, picking up a pair of assists and +2 rating.
