All fans that bring an unwrapped toy to any of the collections will receive one autographed item from the participating players at that event. The donated toys will be distributed by the United States Marine Corps.
The first drive will be held on Monday, December 4 from 4:30 - 6:30 PM at Bay Ridge Honda located at 8801 Fourth Avenue, Bay Ridge, NY 11209. The players that will participate are ADAM GRAVES, BRAD BROWN, SYLVAIN LEFEBVRE, TIM TAYLOR and KIRK MCLEAN.
The second Toys for Tots drive will be held on Tuesday, December 19 from 3:00 - 5:00 PM at Antonio's Restaurant located at 105 Mamaroneck Avenue, White Plains, NY 10601. Players in attendance have not yet been determined.
The third toy drive will be held on Friday, December 22 from 3:00 - 5:00 PM at Cronies Restaurant located at 1695 Second Avenue on the corner of 88th Street in New York City. The players who will be in attendance are yet to be decided.
NYR S.K.A.T.E. (Seeing Kids Achieve, Triumph and Excel) was established in January 1998, as a division of the Madison Square Garden Cheering for Children Foundation, designed to enrich the lives of children in the tri-state area. Through monies raised this season from fundraising programs including in-arena silent auctions and raffles, GardenVision sweet spot messages, outer mall activities and special events including the Rangers Golf Classic and SuperSkate '99 and 2000, the Rangers will provide financial assistance to a variety of children’s charities.
