On August, 14, the Garden of Dreams Foundation joined forces with Yachting Magazine for an evening cruise down the Hudson River with some very special children and families from the Ronald McDonald House of New York, and some very special Madison Square Garden celebrities.
|Adam Graves has been all over the place as a member of the Rangers' Community Relations department. |
Former Rangers star Adam Graves, Knicks alumnus Allan Houston and current Liberty guard Erin Thorn helped Garden of Dreams and Yachting Magazine create a memorable night for the children and families aboard the yacht, Showtime.
Although the weather was a bit rainy, the spirits of the children aboard the yacht could not be dampened as Graves, Houston and Thorn signed autographs, posed for pictures and shared a few laughs with the Ronald McDonald House guests.
Graves, whose No. 9 will be retired by the Rangers on Feb. 3, was thrilled to be a part of the evening cruise. "Garden of Dreams created such a unique experience for the kids and their families," he said. "Allan, Erin and myself were so fortunate to be a part of such a special event and to help put a smile on the face of each child."
