New York Rangers President and General Manager Chris Drury announced today that the team has agreed to terms with forward Riley Nash on a two-year contract.

Nash, 34, spent the 2022-23 season with the Charlotte Checkers of the American Hockey League (AHL) as an alternate captain, recording 24 goals and 35 assists for 59 points in 66 games. On Charlotte, he ranked first in assists and points while ranking tied for first in goals.

The Consort, Alberta native has recorded 176 points (63G-113A) in 627 games at the NHL level between the Arizona Coyotes, Tampa Bay Lightning, Winnipeg Jets, Columbus Blue Jackets, Boston Bruins and Caroline Hurricanes. In 2017-18 with the Bruins, he posted career-highs in goals (15), assists (26) and points (41).

Nash has accumulated 42 career playoff games as well, notching two goals and six assists for eight points over six playoff campaigns.

The 6-2, 188 pound forward was originally drafted by the Edmonton Oilers in the first round, 21st overall, of the 2007 NHL Entry Draft.
