by Staff Writer / New York Rangers

Rangers fans will have a special opportunity to receive autographs from several members of the team while supporting the U.S. Marine Corps' Toys for Tots program.

The event, scheduled for 4-7 p.m. today at "The Pond" at Bryant Park, marks the 12th consecutive year that the New York Rangers organization has supported the Marine Corps efforts on behalf of Toys for Tots.

Current Rangers players Kevin Weekes, Tom Poti, Steve Rucchin, Jason Strudwick, Martin Straka, Martin Rucinsky and special alumni guest Adam Graves will host this year's holiday toy drive.

Fans attending the event will receive player autographs in exchange for donating an unwrapped toy for distribution by the United States Marine Corps.

The Rangers are also proud to announce that Fisher-Price, a contributing sponsor at this year's drive, will be donating 500 toys to the Toys for Tots program. Over the past 11 years, the Rangers have delivered more than 62,000 toys to New York City children.

"The Pond" at Bryant Park is located at 6th Avenue and 42nd Street in Manhattan.
