New York Rangers President and General Manager Glen Sather announced today that forwards Petr Prucha and Ryan Hollweg have been recalled from Hartford Wolf Pack of the American Hockey League (AHL). In addition, forward Jeff Taffe has been assigned to Hartford for conditioning purposes. Both Prucha and Hollweg will report to New York today.
Prucha, 23, has skated in seven games with the Rangers this season, registering two goals along with four penalty minutes. He appeared in two games for the Wolf Pack, registering two goals and one assist. Hollweg, 22, has played in three games with the Rangers this season, collecting one
assist and eight penalty minutes. In seven games with Hartford, he recorded two goals and one assist, along with 11 penalty minutes.
Taffe, 24, has appeared in three games with the Rangers since being acquired from the Phoenix Coyotes on October 18, 2005 in exchange for Jamie Lundmark. New York's next contest is scheduled for tomorrow night, Thursday, November 3 in New Jersey. Game time is set for 7:30 PM.
