Two Rangers prospects competed in Game 2 of the Canada-Russia 2007 Under-20 Super Series e in Ufa, Russia, on Wednesday. Here is a summary of their performances:

Artem Anisimov

Anisimov, who will join the Rangers at training camp next month, did not score any points or take any penalties. He also saw time on the Russian power play. Canada never looked back after taking a 1-0 lead in the first period on a goal by Phoenix draft pick Kyle Turris. Canadian goalie Jonathan Bernier stopped 23 shots for the shutout.

Cherepanov, the Rangers' 2007 first-round draft pick, did not score any points or take any penalties in the Russians' second straight loss. The teams resume play on Friday in Omsk, Russia, which will be the site of Games 3 and 4.
