Ty Ronning had a goal and added two assists for Vancouver, who topped Regina, 5-2, in the Western Hockey League. The 2016 seventh-round pick has seven points in his last two games and 10 points in his last five contests. Overall, the 20-year-old has 10 goals and six assists for 16 points in 12 games.

Vinni Lettieri scored a power play goal and Alexandar Georgiev made 41 saves in a 3-2 shootout loss for the Hartford Wolf Pack against the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins in the American Hockey League on Saturday night.

Adam Tambellini and Vince Pedrie had assists in the game.

Goaltender Igor Shesterkin made 25 saves for SKA in a 4-3 shootout win over Jokerit in the Kontinental Hockey League. The 2014 draft choice improved to 14-1-2 in 17 games this season. He's sporting a .948 SV% and a 1.38 GAA with four shutouts.

Patrik Virta had an assist for TPS in a 6-3 victory over Ilves in Finland's Liiga on Saturday. The 2017 pick has three goals and eight assists for 11 points in 15 games.
