Rangers 2015 second-round pick Ryan Gropp has a goal and an assist through two games against Brandon in the Western Hockey League's championship series, which Seattle trails, 2-0.
The 6-foot-2, 189-pound Gropp has four goals and three assists for seven points through eight playoff games, after posting 34 goals and 70 points in 66 regular season games.
Over in the Ontario Hockey League, Rangers prospect Daniel Bernhardt and the London Knights are getting the best of fellow Rangers prospect Ryan Mantha and the Niagara IceDogs, as London leads their championship series, 2-0.
Bernhardt picked up an assist in Saturday's 6-1 London victory. Mantha, meanwhile, has been held scoreless, but has had an impressive postseason, registering two goals and six assists for eight points through 15 contests.
Lastly, Rangers goaltending prospect Adam Huska was named the United States Hockey League's goaltender of the year, as voted on by the League's general managers.
Huska, the Rangers' seventh-round pick in 2015, finished the regular season 26-9-2 with a 1.82 goals against average and a .931 save percentage with four shutouts. He has committed to the University of Connecticut for next season.
