Prospect Update: Andersson With Two Points for Wolf Pack

Gettinger, Lindgren and Ronning in Action

Forward Lias Andersson scored a goal and added an assist while Vinni Lettieri potted two goals to help Hartford overcome a 4-1 deficit to earn a point in a 5-4 overtime loss to Springfield in the American Hockey League.

Friday marked Andersson's third multi-point game in the AHL, and it gave him five goals and seven assists for 12 points in 16 games this season with the Wolf Pack.

The goals gave Lettieri 16 on the season, and Adam Tambellini chipped in with a goal and an assist himself. Boo Nieves and Vince Pedrie also had assists.

Tim Gettinger had a goal and an assist in a 6-5 shootout win for Sault Ste. Marie over Sarnia in the Ontario Hockey League. Gettinger has a three-game point streak that's seen him post five points. The 2016 fifth round selection has 32 goals and 31 assists for 63 points in 59 games with the Greyhounds.

Defenseman Ryan Lindgren had an assist and added two shots on goal for the University of Minnesota, who were topped, 5-3, by Penn State in the opening game of the Big Ten's quarterfinal series.

Ty Ronning scored the only goal for Vancouver in a 5-1 loss to Kamloops in the Western Hockey League. The tally gives Ronning 55 goals to go along with 21 assists for 76 points in 62 contests with the Giants.

Goaltender Igor Shesterkin made 23 saves on Thursday to earn his seventh shutout of the season with SKA on the Kontinental Hockey League. He finished the KHL regular season 20-4-4 with a .933 SV% and a 1.70 GAA. The top-ranked SKA will face Severstal in the first round of the Western Conference playoffs.

Defenseman Alexei Bereglazov finished the regular season with three assists in 25 games for Metallurg, who face Avtomobilist in the first round of the Eastern Conference playoffs.

Patrik Virta had an assist for TPS, who topped JYP, 3-2, in Finland's Liiga. He has 13 goals and 24 assists for 37 points in 55 games this season.
