The Wolf Pack (13-10-1-2, 29 pts.) are winless in a season-high four straight games (0-2-1-1), after a 4-1 loss at Wilkes-Barre/Scranton (Pittsburgh affiliate) last night. That followed a 7-1 defeat in Manchester (Los Angeles affiliate) Friday, the first time since February of 2006 that the Wolf Pack had surrendered as many as seven goals in a game. The Pack still has at least a standings point in eight of its last 11 games (5-3-1-2), and completes a string of four straight road games today (5:00) at defending Calder Cup-champion Hershey (Washington affiliate). Hartford then plays three home games next weekend, vs. Portland (Buffalo affiliate) Friday (7:00), Bridgeport (Islanders affiliate) Saturday (7:00) and Albany (Carolina affiliate) Sunday (4:00)
