Shesterkin is the first Rangers goaltender since Henrik Lundqvist in 2015-16 to have 10 wins through the first 19 games of the team's season. Shesterkin has earned wins in five of his last six games and has allowed one or fewer goals in seven of 15 appearances this season.
STROME COOKING
Ryan Strome is currently riding a seven-game point streak (1G-7A), his longest point streak since his 11-game streak from March 13-April 1, 2021 (2G- 14A). It marks the third time in his career that Strome has had a point streak of six or more games:

KREID OF A LIFETIME
On Wednesday night, Kreider kept pace for the most power-play goals in the NHL when he scored his ninth of the season. Kreider trails Leon Draisaitl's 10 PPG's for the most in the NHL. Kreider is the second player in franchise history (Jaromir Jagr - 2005-06 - 10 PPG's) to have nine or more power-play goals in the first 19 games of a season. With his 67th career power-play goal, Kreider passed Mike Gartner for the 10th most PPG's in team history.
Kreider leads the Rangers with 15 goals this season and is tied for the second-most in the NHL behind Leon Draisaitl (20). Kreider has scored a goal in three of his last four games and has six goals in his last six games. Kreider became the first Rangers player with 15 or more goals prior to his 20th game in a season since Marian Gaborik in 2009-10 (15G-12A in 19 GP).
KAAPO KEEPS PRODUCING
Kaapo Kakko is currently on a career-long point streak of five games (3G-3A), surpassing the one he originally set Apr. 6-11, 2021. In each of his last six games, Kakko is a plus-1 or better and in total is a plus-7 since Nov. 13, a team-high in that span.
