Today’s Game
The Rangers face-off against the Philadelphia Flyers today at Wachovia Center (1:00 p.m.), in an Atlantic Division matinee matchup. The Blueshirts currently rank third in the Atlantic Division standings, and ninth in the Eastern Conference, with a record of 15-16-3 (33 pts.). The Rangers enter today's contest having defeated the Islanders, 5-2, on Thursday at Nassau Coliseum, and are now 6-1-0 in their last seven meetings with the Islanders at Long Island. The Flyers enter the contest with a 15-16-2 (32 pts.) record, and rank 13th in the Eastern Conference. Following tonight's game, the Rangers will face-off against the Carolina Hurricanes on Monday, Dec. 19, at RBC Center (7:00 p.m.), to close out their three-game road trip.
