Tonight's Game
The Rangers face-off against the New Jersey Devils tonight at the Prudential Center (7:00 p.m.), in a matchup between Atlantic Division rivals. The Blueshirts currently rank third in the Atlantic Division standings, and seventh in the Eastern Conference, with a record of 1-1-0 (two pts.). New York enter tonight's contest having defeated Ottawa, 5-2, on Saturday at Madison Square Garden in their home opener. It was the Rangers fifth straight win in their Garden opener, marking a new franchise record. New Jersey enter the contest with a 0-1-0 record, and rank 12th in the Eastern Conference. Following tonight's game, the Rangers will travel to Washington to faceoff against the Capitals on Thursday, Oct. 8, at the Verizon Center (7:00 p.m.), in a re-match between 2009 Eastern Conference Quarterfinal opponents.
