Tonight’s Game
The Rangers face-off against the Montreal Canadiens tonight at the Bell Centre (7:00 p.m.), in a matchup between Original Six opponents. The Blueshirts currently rank third in the Atlantic Division standings, and sixth in the Eastern Conference, with a record of 24-20-7 (55 pts.).  The Rangers enter tonight's contest having been defeated by the Philadelphia Flyers, 2-0, Thursday at the Wachovia Center, and have now recorded a point in 14 of their last 18 contests (10-4-4).  The Canadiens enter the contest with a 24-23-5 (53 pts.) record, and rank 10th in the Eastern Conference. Following tonight's game, the Rangers will face-off against the Pittsburgh Penguins on Monday, Jan. 25, at Madison Square Garden (7:00 p.m.), in a matchup between Atlantic Division rivals.
