Tonight's Game
The Rangers face-off against the Minnesota Wild tonight at Xcel Energy Center (8:00 p.m.). The Blueshirts currently rank second in the Atlantic Division standings, and fourth in the Eastern Conference, with a record of 8-4-1 (17 pts.). New York enter tonight's contest having been defeated by NY Islanders, 3-1, on Wednesday at Nassau Coliseum to drop to 7-2-2 (16 pts.) in their last 11 regular season games away from MSG during the month of October dating back to last season. Minnesota enter the contest with a 3-9-0 (six pts.) record, and rank 15th in the Western Conference. Following tonight's game, the Rangers will return home to face-off against the Boston Bruins on Sunday, Nov. 1, at Madison Square Garden (1:00 p.m.), in an Original Six matchup.
