REMEMBERING 1993-94
The Rangers established a single-season franchise record with 20 shorthanded goals during the 1993-94 season. Mike Gartner (five), Adam Graves (four), Steve Larmer (four), Esa Tikkanen (three), Mark Messier (two), Brian Leetch, and Peter Andersson all tallied at least one shorthanded goal for the Rangers during the season.
RANGERS VS. JETS - 1993-94
The Rangers posted a 1-1-0 record in two games against the Winnipeg Jets during the 1993-94 season. Adam Graves tallied two points (one goal, one assist) in two games against Winnipeg, including a shorthanded goal. Mike Richter stopped 26 of 27 shots he faced and earned a win in the Blueshirts' 2-1 victory against the Jets on November 10, 1993 at MSG.
