The Rangers will begin their eighth back-to-back set of the season tonight, Dec. 11, against the Columbus Blue Jackets at Nationwide Arena (7:00 p.m.). The Blueshirts currently rank third in the Atlantic Division standings, and sixth in the Eastern Conference, with a record of 17-12-1 (35 pts). The Rangers enter tonight's contest having defeated the Senators, 5-3, on Thursday at Ottawa to split their home-and-home set (1-1-0), and are now 7-3-0 in their last 10 games. The Blue Jackets enter the contest with a 15-11-1 (31 pts) record to rank 12th in the Western Conference, and have lost six of their last seven games (1-5-1). Following tonight's contest, the Rangers will conclude their back-to-back set when they face-off against the Washington Capitals tomorrow, Dec. 12, at Madison Square Garden (7:00 p.m.).
