Pregame Notes: Rangers at Carolina

Tonight's Game
The Rangers will face-off against the Carolina Hurricanes tonight at RBC Center (7:00 p.m.), to begin a two-game Southeast road trip. The Blueshirts currently rank second in the Atlantic Division standings, and fifth in the Eastern Conference, with a record of 13-5-3 (29 pts). The Rangers enter the contest having defeated the Pittsburgh Penguins, 4-3, on Tuesday at Madison Square Gardento extend their home winning streak to seven games, and have now won their last three contests overall. The Hurricanes enter the contest with an 8-14-4 (20 pts) record to rank 14th in the Eastern Conference, and have lost their last four games (0-3-1). Following tonight's contest, the Rangers will face-off against the Tampa Bay Lightning on Saturday, Dec. 3, at St. Pete Times Forum (7:00 p.m.), to conclude their two-game Southeast road trip.
