The Rangers will face-off against the Atlanta Thrashers tonight at Philips Arena (7:00 p.m.), in the second game of their three-game road trip. The Blueshirts currently rank third in the Atlantic Division standings, and seventh in the Eastern Conference, with a record of 27-19-3 (57 pts). The Rangers enter tonight's contest having been defeated by the Carolina Hurricanes, 4-1, on Thursday at RBC Center, to conclude their league-high, 13th back-to-back set of the season. The Thrashers enter the contest with a 23-18-8 (54 pts) record to rank eighth in the Eastern Conference, and have lost five of their last six games.
