Georgiev is the first Bulgarian-born goaltender who has registered a shutout in NHL history, and he is also the first goaltender of Russian nationality to register a shutout in Rangers history.He has earned a win in each of his last four starts (dating back to Oct. 23 vs. Florida), and he has posted a 1.92 GAA, a .941 SV%, and 1 SO over his last four starts. Georgiev was selected as the game's First Star in tonight's contest.
  • Chris Kreidertallied two points (one goal, one assist), tied for the game-high with five shots on goal, tied for the team-high with four hits, and posted a plus-three rating. Kreider was selected as the game's Second Star. He has tallied a point in five of the last six games (five goals, four assists over the span).
