  • IN A NEW YORK MINUTE - For the third consecutive game, the Rangers tallied two goals in a span of less than one minute (Kevin Shattenkirk - 17:53 of the second period; Neal Pionk - 18:33 of the second period).
  • POINT TAKEN -The Rangers extended their season-long point streak to five games (4-0-1 record; dating back to Oct. 30 at San Jose). In addition, the Blueshirts have earned at least one point in eight of the last 11 games (6-3-2 record) and in nine of the last 13 games (7-4-2 record).
  • NET RETURNS -Henrik Lundqvist and Jimmy Howard have both started in the same game nine times.
