POST-GAME NOTES: Rangers 3, New Jersey Devils 1

It was another impressive win for the Rangers on Friday night, as they tightened their grip on a playoff berth by toppling the Devils 3-1 at New Jersey's Prudential Center. The Blueshirts are now a perfect 5-for-5 in games against the Devils this season.

* Chris Drury recorded his 500th career point when he scored an empty-net goal with 3.7 seconds remaining in the game. Drury had two goals on the night, and has three in the last two games.

* Scott Gomez also reached the 500-point milestone, assisting on Drury's first goal of the night in the second period.

* Brandon Dubinsky opened the scoring for the Rangers with his eighth of the season, and he led the team with six shots on goal. He is now 4-3-7 in his last 8 matches.

* Henrik Lundqvist made 33 saves to up his record to 5-0-0 this season, and 10-2-3 in his career, against the Devils. He has surrendered only four goals in five matches against New Jersey this year.

* With wins in Philadelphia Thursday and New Jersey on Friday, the Rangers have won consecutive road games for the first time since winning five in a row from Nov. 10-21.
