POST-GAME NOTES: Rangers 1, Anaheim Ducks 4

The Rangers' season-long struggle against Western Conference teams continued on Thursday night at Madison Square Garden, as the Blueshirts fell to defending Stanley Cup champion Anaheim 4-1. Ryan Callahan scored the Rangers' lone goal.

NOTES

* Ryan Callahan notched a goal at 7:42 of the second period. He tallied seven goals and eight assists for 15 points and a plus-seven rating in 11 games with the Hartford Wolf Pack of the American Hockey League (AHL) prior to his recall on Feb. 2.

* Sean Avery collected an assist and logged 11:35 of icetime. He has now registered a point in the last two games (one goal and one assist).

* Blair Betts tallied an assist, posted a plus-one rating and won eight of 14 faceoffs (57%) . Has posted a plus or even rating in 45 of the last 54 games.

* Fedor Tyutin delivered a game-high, seven hits and logged 20:44 of icetime. He increased his team-leading total to 158 hits this season.

* Brandon Dubinsky dished out four hits to increase his league-leading total to 133 hits among first-year players.

* The Blueshirts outshot the Ducks, 33-19, increasing their season totals to 1,816 shots for with just 1,459 shots against. New York has now outshot their opponent in 16 of the last 18 games.

* The Rangers have sold out 105 consecutive regular season games.
