Pavel Brendl and Jamie Lundmark Shine in WHL All-Star Game

New York Rangers 1999 first round draft choices Pavel Brendl (fourth overall) and Jamie Lundmark (ninth overall) represented the Eastern Conference in last night's 1999-2000 WHL All-Star Game held in Kelowna, British Columbia. Brendl, appearing in his second WHL All-Star competition, notched two goals and one assist for three points in the game, while Jamie Lundmark collected a goal and two assists for three points, while also appearing in his second WHL All-Star Game. The Eastern Conference defeated the Western Conference 10-8.
Brendl has collected 42 goals and 37 assists for 79 points in 40 games with the Calgary Hitmen (WHL) this season. Brendl leads the league in goals (42) and points (79). Lundmark has collected 16 goals and 21 assists for 37 points in 29 games with the Moose Jaw Warriors (WHL) this season. Lundmark recently returned to the Warriors, after collecting two goals and three assists for five points in seven games, helping lead Team Canada to a bronze medal at the 1999-2000 World Junior Championships in Sweden.
