NYR Prospects in Postseason: April 25 Recap

Two Rangers prospects competed in postseason play on Tuesday in the OHL and WHL playoffs. Here is a player-by-player look at their performances:


CallahanRyan Callahan

Team: Guelph Storm (OHL)
Playoff Series: Guelph vs. London (London leads series 3-1)
Callahan's Playoff Scoring to Date: 12 games, 7 goals, 16 assists
April 25: London 2, Guelph 1 (at Guelph)

Callahan had the second assist on Guelph's lone goal, scored by Kelsey Wilson at 5:38 of the second period. That goal gave the Storm a 3-1 lead that they held into the third period, before London scored twice to win it. The game-winner was scored by the Knights' Ryan Martinelli with only two seconds left in regulation time. With the loss, the Storm moved to the brink of playoff elimination.

Psurny did not record a point, but that didn't stop the Tigers from claiming their first victory of the Eastern Conference Finals.
